PM Lecturer
Sage Bionetworks
Jineta Banerjee, PhD, is a Principal Data Scientist and Associate Director of Advanced Data Analytics at Sage Bionetworks. Her research focuses on creative computational analyses of biomedical data to accelerate rare-disease research and to encourage data sharing within patient communities. Her work spans neuroscience, genomics, bioinformatics, machine learning, and electronic health records. She is involved in the ARPA-H Biomedical Data Fabric Toolbox project, where her team applies AI-assisted methods and digital-dignity principles to meaningfully connect biomedical data, and serves as a principal investigator on the NIH Complement-ARIE program — a $25 million data hub and coordinating center hosted jointly at NYU Langone Health and Sage Bionetworks.
