Reyhaneh Hosseinpour is a Ph.D. student in Cognition and Neuroscience at the University of Texas at Dallas, with a background in statistics and computational methods. Her research focuses on large language models (LLMs), psychometrics, clinical reasoning assessment, and virtual patient simulation in medical education. She works on developing and evaluating AI-driven systems that support healthcare training and assessment, with particular interest in realism, communication, and reasoning in AI-generated patient interactions. Reyhaneh has presented her work at conferences including IMPS, NeurIPS workshops, and ML4Health-related venues. Her interdisciplinary work combines machine learning, educational psychology, and cognitive science to improve assessment methods and digital learning environments.
